Allow Codes to be Merged together |
| |
|
Numerics are incremented -
Customer 1 Sales equals $500 and Customer 2 Sales equals $800.
When Customer 2 is merged into Customer
1, Customer 1 Sales will equal $1,300. |
| |
|
Averages are averaged - Item
1 has 12 units at $35 each average cost and Item 2 has 4 units at $30 each average cost. When Item
2 is merged into Item 1, Item 1 will have 16 units at $33.75
each. |
| |
|
Sequenced records are maintained
- Sequence numbers are used in the same Data File to
avoid duplicate entries. The sequence
number will be incremented to the next available number if
the existing sequence is in use when a merge is being processed. |
| |
|
Support text (string) numerics
- Some numeric values are stored in a text field. These
numbers can also be incremented
via parameters in Merge Codes. |
| |
|
Support Developer strings
- The Developer string is in a text string, which allows all
numerics in this text field to be merged. |
